Who are your 3 favourite dubstep producers?
Re: Who are your 3 favourite dubstep producers?
@ Sonika
This is by far my favorite song by Kode 9. I feel like im on a new planet, just from the art work, and the song itself, soo good.

Rufage by Loefah is a monster, get on that immediately.Sonika wrote:Nevalo wrote:its sytem music ... so when you do get that opportunity to hear it at a rave, i can bet you will be more than impressedSonika wrote:I really haven't heard much by Kode9 or Loefah, they're both big names that I have yet to really form an opinion on bc I havent heard enough of their stuff.
I should check them out in the near future.
I can't wait...but I still enjoy all of these tunes in my subs and my friend's (better) subs.

Re: Who are your 3 favourite dubstep producers?
man that's cruel
Mala and Loefah always... just 100% amazing output every time. Neither has ever released a tune that I'm not feeling.
Third place is a fucked up tie between Burial, Kode9, Distance, Pinch, and Rama/Pearson. Honorable mentions to Cyrus, Quest, Shackleton, Appleblim, Peverelist, Horsepower, and too many more to name

Hard to choose just 3, seem to change on any day.
For now:
1. Shackleton.
2. Kode9
3. Probably Mala at the moment, or maybe V.I.V.E.K
Honorably mentions out to James Blake/Harmonimix, Appleblim, Peverelist, Burial, Cluekid, Loefah and Pangaea!

Re: Who are your 3 favourite dubstep producers?
Distance - easily the winner, guy's already a legend and hes still putting out so much quality stuff
Skream - love his versatility eg. how he produced Anticipate & Phatty Drummer
Loefah - bass just cant get heavier than the one this guy comes out with. Has he completely stopped producing dubstep now? Because that would be a huge shame

DJG because he sounds like no one else, his tunes have real swing, no need for bludgeon riffola. He's given a lot of them away for free:
http://djgsound.com/voids He hasn't made anything I didn't like.
Beneath, with a name like that you'd think he makes dungeon but his beats remind me of tunes by Menta and Moving Ninja from back in the day:
