I forfeit. Wanna release a more refined version of my entry. Plus my tunes' had less listens than votes cast for the entire comp :corncry: Good luck everyone else, really hope F wins :)

Well done drooka, nice track.

Mine was F. Thank you to everyone who voted for mine, I appreciate it. Really enjoyed making this track for the comp. Can't wait to get on the next one to be honest!

If by any chance anyone wants a 320, let me know and I'll re-host it.

On a more serious note (going back to what virks said on the first page), I think the method for voting should be revised.

People in the competition can quite easily just get their mates or even their mum to sign up to DSF and vote for their track. I'm not saying that's what people have done - hopefully everyone was honest with their voting. But if what virks said is true I just think it would be a lot fairer if, for example, people who voted had to post their vote directly into the thread, rather than doing the poll. Or even both? That way it's clearly visible who's voted, and if someone with 1 post who joined yesterday votes then you can almost assume that he or she has just been asked to sign up to vote for X's track. Obviously not everyone who has voted has also posted in this thread, which leaves some doubt as to who has actually voted for what track.

Does this make sense or am I being a bit over the top?

Those were good tunes all around.
I had a feeling B would win.

Who did 'i'? That was my vote.

The voting system is kinda iffy, but based on the amount of total votes I doubt anyone voted besides normal forum people. If it was in the 100s then it would be harder to tell.

the shame of anyone who cheats an online voting poll to win a make believe contest should be enough lol

This. If it were a serious contest with prizes and whatnot, then yes a more 'secure' voting system would probably be required. But it's just for fun, and if anyone wants to cheat and not win honestly...well, that's there business. We all seem to be relatively decent folk round here :)
