I saw Loe a few weeks ago in SF. He played about an hour of Swamp stuff, than almost a full hour of classics. He was on fire during the classic selection. System, Root, Anti-War Dub, Spongebob, a Skream Big Apple garage tune, Midnight Request Line, Blue Notes, Goat Stare, and It's Your's all got thrown down. The highlight of the set was him dropping a classic Wiley bit that tore up the dance. Loefah is a badman for life!

Saw Loef in Glasgow twice last year, first time was at a swamp81 night on the mungo's hifi system, was mostly swamp bits obviously, played goat stare, I remix and horror show at the end if I remember correctly. On that system... :U:

Last month with Pinch I expected the same (which would have went down a treat regardless) but he came with like 30-40 minutes of classics at the end... Last tune he played was I Luv U, pulled it up 3 times... So much love for old Dizzee Rascal bits. One of the top nights i've been to.

After reading all of this, DMZ 7 should be biblical.

It's good to hear Loefah is getting back to his original sound.
All I want now is for him to get Kryptic Minds to release the Badman VIP and I'm a happy man!

Speaking of which, does Pinch still play old dubstep bits or is it just Swamp stuff now?

Sorry for going off topic lol

think it depends on the lineup he's on mate. if it's a swamp81 kinda night then 130 stuff, if it's more of a typical 140 lineup i'd say more of his older stuff. tbh i haven't seen him for a while, at outlook he played a mixture when he was on with sparrow

I think Loe playing classic halfstep stuff for DMZ night and stuff like that is a smart idea all round. If he's not feeling newer 140 tunes then why play them, and I'm sure he's smart enough to know that the typical DMZ crowd isn't the same as a typical Swamp crowd. I have to wonder if he will champion some newer 140 stuff if that kinda stuff is behind him now. I would love to see him release new material on DMZ but not sure what it would sound like
