NYU

Anyone on here ever taken classes or gotten a (gasp) degree there? I'm applying to take a summer session there in June and I'm pretty fucking excite! It looks like the best school I've looked at so far, and it's the only one that will take me. I'm talking about the music recording school, btw.

not taken a class there mate, but I always hear dubious report of schools. In part to the fact they cover such wide range of modules you don't get any really depth, unless you put alot of hours in yourself.

What particular area you wanting to improve would be my question then find the best in that and do alot of studying yourself

I'm interested in studio recording classes not the DAW classes. No amount of books are going to substitute studio time. There's one half credit class just on recording and process drums! Also, it's NYU, not dubturbo
