Yes, FSOL in the mid ninetie were on top of their game!
Dead Cities, ISDN, Lifeforms :U:
Big big influences for me

Accelerator was brilliant too though!

Just picked up an FSOL live ISDN show from about 96 the other day, and its pretty sweet.

Also, check the FSOL essential mix from 93(?) if you want more of that kinda stuff. It was linked on this forum somewhere...

Also, check out the Research & Development LP by Intex Systems. Its along those lines, and well worth a listen!

Redman sampling FSOL... sounds far out ....but hiphop can incorporate most things and get away with it....

and FSOL.... damn.... Lifeforms and ISDN and Dead Cities and We Have Explosive and My Kingdom ...those means everything ....Accelerator and Amorphous and Humanoid were also big...but the others are forever legendary...... fucking deep.... fucking beautiful.....fucking art.....

and they aint dead yet....their website has been updated and they are still active......well the last LP i heard from them truly chocked me...psychedelic rock....ugh....ill keep my memories of the good old times intact.....and freedom for all...of course the public doesnt own FSOL and all are free to do whatever turns them on....

.....another tripped out UK legend from the same period was the Orb....defo as deep and moving and beautiful as FSOL..... and the ones that made me love dub ....and see a bigger potential for electronic music......and then Autechre and Aphex Twin and 2 Lone Swordsmen and D´Arcangelo and BoC and Rephlex and Warp and Ninja Tune...ooh and Pole and Biosphere.....its great to get away from noise and hardcore once in a while :D

its all timeless music and it feels like its going fullcircle with dubstep now ....atmosphere ...bass ...breaks ....beats.....and freedom to go any where....even crossing listening music with music for the floor......luvley!!!!!!!
