What is exciting to your ears might not be to mine
Alistairr wrote:people who defend him are just fanboys caught up in the hype imo, defending their "latest" idol
I'd never even heard of Scuba until i stumbled across Triangulation on Youtube last year by accident, so that's that theory out the window.
Alistairr wrote: and if u disagree with most of this, thats becuase u are ignorant
No, I disagree because i enjoy his music so therefore disagree with what you're saying
Alistairr wrote: and only listen to music that is fed to u through the machine of hype.
Ridiculous and baseless assumption to make about people personal music habits without knowing them.
Alistairr wrote: go and listen to broken bubble net label or acroplane records if u want ur mind blown...
Thanks for the recommendation ...i will...but like i said before, your idea of what is mind blowing might be different to mine or anyone elses.

lol @ some of the opinions on here, not quite sure how a 'hype machine' can last for nearly 2 years (only talking about this thread) and over the course of 2 albums and still be classed as hype instead of actual justified and deserved recognition. There is a time for unfounded misguided radical views that attempt to make one seem knowledgable, but now is not that time.

Onto the goooood stuff, triangulation gets a lot of deserved credit but I think the Aesaunic Ep at the time was huge, different tempos on an ep hadn't been done much before. Love this tune but a bit hard to mix the intro

You have a Neon Indian album review on your little blog in which you praise them and call them "one of my favorite groups". Now who's buying into the hype machine?
You're just silly.

top marks for sounding like a dick and chatting absolute shite. big ups bro.

think you may need to use this too ;-)

ignorant (ig¦nor|ant)

Pronunciation: /ˈɪgn(ə)r(ə)nt/
adjective
1lacking knowledge or awareness in general; uneducated or unsophisticated:

lacking knowledge, information, or awareness about something in particular:

Seems like you may have given us a self diagnoses

========================================

Re listened to Triangulation earlier and its still as fresh as the day it was produced.
I love the new album for being a grower, some tracks get better with each listen.
I think a lot of people were expecting another Triangulation album, but its been done to its best and im glad he's pulled out another "Different" album. He just eats up any style of music he takes on, top marks everytime

Oh dear, this manz a tool. :a: What's he been listening to Scuba on? A fucking AM radio set? Triangulation is such a deep album. Most dubstep / bass music artist's albums tend to be a let down imo compared to EPs but Triangulation has no filler in it. Solid!
