1) Inception
2) The Shining (I gotta say, the book was 10x scarier)
3) Dark Knight wasn't as good as people made it out to be

Ok here's one. Who do people think are the most overrated directors? By the public I'd say James Cameron. By critics I'd say Jean-Luc Goddard.

Yeah big up Jesus for dying for our sins and netting us a public holiday in the process.

Also, hot cross buns.

1. The Big Lebowski (saw it, 't was crap)
2. Pulp Fiction (the movie's good, just not that good)
3. Slumdog Millionaire (pretty crappy, yes)

Not to be pedantic but From Dusk Til Dawn is a Robert Rodriguez film not Tarantino

and resevoir dogs is a remake of another movie,
I wouldn't' say remake, definitely inspired by a few films and bordering on homage in some cases. You mean Kubrick's The Killing mostly though right? Granted I haven't seen it in many years, so maybe it was closer than I remember.

And yeah Rodriiguez only directed it. Tarantino has sold/given a few of his screenplays to other directors.
Resevoir Dogs for years has been accused of ripping off the 1987 Hong Kong movie City On Fire.
It wouldn't surprise me, he is a huge fan of Asian cinema. I'll have to check it out. It does sound like they have similar scenes and sub plots. But tbh it sounds like City on Fire might have taken a bit from Kubrick's The Killing too which is from the 50s. That was also probably inspired by something else in turn anyway.

can i say something blasphemous? i never read the book  . but, it was a movie my mum specifically showed me to desensitize me when i was super young, like when i was 7 years of age. scared me into oblivion. still one of my favorites. i guess i should read the book though? i read all the time, but i never read a lot of stephen king.

It's supposed to be the top 3 overrated films though...Hot Fuzz doesn't get near the top of IMDB or They Shoot Pictures so no one is claiming it to be rated that highly.

It was bigger here than in the US so would never get near that list, I remember all my mates talking as if it was hilarious
