I've been trying to emulate the bass that comes in at 1:16, it sounds almost like a bass that would be made in subtractor, in reason. The thing is i'm trying to make it in massive, big surprise I know

. I really love that overly aggressive brostep sound that sluggo, nerdrage, and terrabad have been pumping out. I feel like this particular sound would probably have a lot to do with the scream filter in massive with added disto from Ohmnicide. I know this belongs in the make that sound thread, but it doesn't look like the thread has been updated in a couple of months. If anyone is interested i'll post some sounds that i've made as a thank you for helping out.

anything tbh.. band pass, comb, etc all sounds good depending on what you combine.
experiment and dont just use 1 filter + throw an envelope or two on each parameter, thats what massive is for.

Malstrom in reason is very good for making them thick brosteppy sounds using some unison and using a fair amount of hall reverb (turn down the decay though). then use 2 separate scream distortion units, one with the tube setting and one with the fuzz setting with less damage on the fuzz.
That should work
