How do you make liquidy synths, basses, and drum patterns?

Post by Flippity » Sun Mar 11, 2012 12:44 am

I was at a show the other day and this guy played this song that sounded like diarrhea. Every drop sounded absolutely liquidy. I don't have an example to play for you because I never got the guy's name down. Anyone able to help me out?

real answer time, do eat anything al day and then go out for a mexican feast i talking eat as much as you possibly can which out hacking. then when you get home before you go to bed set up a mic right next to the toilet preferably at seat level. Next step, record what happens in the morning..instant shit bass

your description reminds me of kingdom by untold, wouldn't call it diarrhea more swampy and boggy, but still squidgy like the shits.
Dont know if thats anything like what you mean, but yeah as someone mentioned experiment with fairly high resonance automating envelopes so that sounds flow into one another.
