The crossbow redneck is kinda cool....hope everybody else dies off and they turn it into an "I Am Legend"-esque series with him just walking around shooting arrows in zombies' faces while gorged out of his mind on his brother's pill stash.

i think people take their love for zombies too seriously. for a zombie show / survival horror script its easily the best offering we've had in ages.

which is shitty because if resident evil ever wised the fuck up and went back to the mansion it'd be a no brainer

also series is against any logics of zombie films, how can he become a zombie without being bitten? zomby dreamz?

A bite kills you and the infection re animates you, if everyone is already infected then dying of natural causes would be the same as getting bitten. Not hard to understand is it.

I still can't believe the past week or so in the show they've been quiet as hell. Not licking off any shots at all. Well barely.

Meanwhile the forest adjacent to them is FULL UP of the undead. Carl then lures hundreds pon hundreds.. With one shot.

As far as I can tell, the virus is airborne or something and everyone has it already, but it's passive until you die or are bitten. When you get bitten, the zombie transfers an active virus to you, which then kills you and zombies you. I have a feeling that's what the scientist dude was going to tell them in that lab.
Also, not every zombie movie needs to conform to the ones that came before it, ya know.

And about the gunshot and all the zombies, I find it believable. It's the same as the horde in the city when Rick was in the tank or the one that came through the highway before they lost Sophia. One zombie hears something or is just walking one way, then another starts following, then another, and on and on until there's a whole group of them. And yeah, gunshots are loud as shit, especially when it's fired in an empty field when there's nothing going on within, like, a few hundred mile radius haha that would definitely clue in a horde of zombies.

Maybe they did though, Zombies are pretty fucking slow.
