You can probably find, a similar preset for this under some kind of datsik, excicision pack. I then processed it with some layering, spread out the mids and highs, added some reverb to the mids. Probably afters he bounced it down and chopped it up to get that kind of wub sound.

This including a mix of LFO as well

I think he may have compressed the lows so the midrange bass doesn't have a static sub bass

when a sub bass doesn't follow the mid range, it kind of just follows the midi notes without taking any consideration for pitch bends and bassline movement, if that makes any sense

sub basses don't have any harmonics if you think your sub should be twisting with your baseline your kidding yourself

when I meant bassline movement i didnt mean like phasing etc im talking about pitch bends and the sort.

thats not a pure sine I'm guessing, probably a sine he used in the same patch...what I'm saying is that with a pure sine theres no point in modulating anything but the level, because of the lack of harmonics.

That's more down to the resonance and inperfection of the system methinks.

Try playing ascending/descendung sequence with your sub

Turn up the glide
