But seriously, stick with the few people you are friends with and trust. I know people in the Navy that are stationed in that area, they claim it gets better. Though some dude I know spends six months at a time on a submarine, now that is some difficulty to deal with.

Couldn't imagine a sub man.

Post 9-11 I was on an alert team that was in the center of this massive building and about 4 stories underground. We had sleeping quarters and a nice rec room very large area outside our work area. Anywho just being below ground for 2 weeks and not seeing daylight for 2 weeks freaked me the fuck out mentally. Major depression and aggravation.

Could only imagine a sub is like that magnified by 100

sounds tough dude, to be honest i could never see myself even thinking about doing what you're doing, so you've already got that going for you. your peers sound like dickheads, the exact type of person i really despise, but remember, YOU ARE BETTER THAN THEM IN EVERY WAY. other than that, all i can really say is what pkay's been saying. it's gonna be a tough 3 years or so, but it's going to have a reaaaaaallly good effect on the rest of your life after that. brave through the difficulty right now (you can do it), and it will pay off well when it's all said and done.

and if you ever need someone to talk to, you know i'm here :W:
