Making his name primarily through his dubstep/two-step output, Manchester's Joe Synkro effortlessly transcends electronic genres with his brand of deep bass driven music, hot stepping between 130 and 170bpm with a wide range of thoughtful and, at times, beautifully delicate sounds.
Synkro's productions remain prolific and wide ranging. This year already he boasts releases on Get Darker, SuperBass, Exit, Critical Music and Med School. For anyone who is familiar with these labels, this means an immensely high level of achievement across the genre's of Dubstep, Drum & Bass and Deep House.
He's not stopping there either. Synkro has secured a forthcoming release on the R&S Sub-label Apollo Records. A label best known for putting out music by the likes of Aphex Twin, Synkro will be amongst the first wave of producers to be featured as it relaunches this year.

2011 was a breakthrough year for Thelem a.k.a Matt Weare, who has been rapidly building momentum with his punishing sub-heavy production, precision DJ sets and cultivating his own Orientis Records imprint, which is steadily garnering a reputation for releasing quality, intelligent dubstep on wax.
Inspired by the textures and soundscapes of artists such as Paradox, and drawing from other early influences including Hip-Hop, Grime and Drum & Bass, Thelem has carved out his own distinct style of production, which focuses on delivering expertly crafted bass frequencies, rhythmical variation and dark, minimal atmospherics. He is supported by some of the most influential selectors on the scene, with originators Youngsta, Distance and Chef unleashing Thelem’s constructions on their legendary Rinse FM shows and on dance-floors across world.
