Real Life Mixtape pt.1- Deejay Chaotic (Dub,DnB,Turntablism)
check out my new mix and p-p-p-please feel free to critique!
Its 30 minutes of Dubstep with a dash of DnB and Turntablism, (and Queen....yeah, really). I put a lot of time & thought into this, everything is mixed in key, I tried to bring in a new track every 16 bars or so, to keep things movin, & theres some neat-o scratching at the end. I think you'll enjoy!

Though I can respect the idea of really fast cuts (especially in styles that call for it) I think it does sort of take a lot away from dubstep and "dumb it down" a lot by making each song easily represented by a small clippette of a few wobs from each. Have you tried the opposite of this style and let songs roll for 1:30-2:00 and try to have both songs mingling at the same time? Though it doesn't work nearly as well for most tearout I think you'll probably come out with more interesting mixes, especially when the cuts are rather formulaic (ie play song, when song drops cue intro to next song, when that song drops cue intro to next song). If you follow that exact process (which can admittedly produce success) you aren't doing anything that a barely programmed MP3 player couldn't do, and I think all DJs can agree that that is the LAST thing we want to really be. Not a horrible mix or anything just not really my style

haha yeah ive tried longer mixes before, ive been djing for 15+ yrs. although I introduce new tracks every 30 seconds or so, im not just dropping from one song to the next, most of the mixes are held for a while. maybe because everythings mixed in key your not noticing that theres more mixing going on.
I wanted to keep this one moving

Gonna check this out. Mix Master Mike did a dubstep mixtape a couple years ago and it sounded nice. T/L isn't what I'm normally into but willing to give it a shot! Big up.
