If this is really true, i feel that it is very fucked up. Cats are amazing creatures that are both cool, full of personality, and i think, very spiritual. I really dislike peta's tactics for getting things like this noticed though, and i think their pretty extreme. then again, maybe you have to be extreme just to get people's attention.
i really just wish this world would be more humane towards people, and animals. its really too bad. Some religions believe that we were put on this planet to understand suffering. In the qaballistic tree of life, the 9th sepirah, Binah, is the feminine energy manifest, but more importantly, the concept of real understanding through intense suffering.
Not that we should stand by and let things like this happen, but its something to think about, and it puts things in a different perspective. Oh, and my 12 legged cat is doing fine.
