If you love music then that is great. But you can love hobbies. Your hobbies make you who you are. I love playing bass. If I miss out on playing my bass one day I will be angry. I will literally be mad at everyone and not be happy until I get my fingers on the nickel. I know I will not make a career out of it though. I just keep it as a hobby. Bass playing is a part of me and always will be. Just keep music as a very important part of your life. But if you 100% have to get a job in the music industry then just go all the way. Get as much experience as possible and get to know as many people as possible. Best of luck, hope I see your name in concert headlines later on!
