You mention FL having glitchy popping sounds, perhaps you never looked into the preferences and raised your buffering rate?
To be fair, that's not entirely true. It depends on the quality of components like the motherboard. Some pc's have real bad dpc latency spikes, the result being clicks and pops in audio. A pc built specifically for audio will usually have hardware that has been tested for this.

My dell laptop has shitty spikes, i bought it in 2008 and didn't know about this. I've disabled all of the stuff i don't use and they've gone down, and if i disable wifi they go altogether.

My i7 desktop was built from the list of components from one of scan.co.uk's audio pc's. It has ultra low latency, and i can run everything on minimal buffer settings.

Truth is, as far as your production goes you're not going to see ANY noticeable difference between and ASUS mobo and a ACER mobo.

Good luck! I'm actually quite interested in seeing if you can do any better than Eatbass...
acctually with my previous laptop i cheked everyything ,,i was using asio drivers and everything was to the max,,,the thing is im not a noob in this ,ive been making music since 2005 but when it comes to computer and hardware in general i suck ,lol

Build from scratch. Just get an i5 2500k, p67 MB and 8 gigs of ram and you should be able to run small country. Don't waste 1800 euros on any computer.
