I personally like both, and I certainly don't think the deeper stuff is boring. I probably prefer certain bro tracks but both are indespensible to me. I wouldn't say people who just like the original sound are close-minded, but different people have different tastes. My (and I'm sure a ton of peoples') frustration is with the "where's the drop" generation. I'll be the first to admit that I like brostep, but you won't see me moshing at clubs with a candy coated outfit and lightsticks hanging from my body; I just happen to enjoy the deeper sound and the more aggressive stuff both.

Haven't read every page but I think OP sees everything from the perspective of broseph, thus confusing who is
close minded and who's not.

Dubstep shouldn't open up to crapstep, because crapstep doesn't have anything to do with dubstep plus it sounds awful.
