Good work. I'd say work on the intro, it's incredibly lackluster compared to the drop. Maybe filter everything out in the intro, or process the strings. Good tune otherwise.

Personally I would say the intro is good how it is because it's nice to listen to and it allows you to build a lot of energy for the drop. Nice track man!elburz wrote:Good work. Sweet track man! Musically it's really good, love the double time bits as well. Think the main thing that jumps out for me as something that could be improved is the snare, could maybe do with a bit more slap. Probably just a case of personal preference though! Nice work.

Awesome song! You've improved a lot! Amazing album cover also! Keep it up man;)
Re: Slangor - Dragonflies (Drumstep/Clubstep)
Your intro is pretty sweet, the build is spot on. Nice fat drop too, i really like the synth stabs you contrast the bass with. Everything sounds nice and full too, good job on the mix. Only one suggestion - the snare, it sounds a tad weak - needs more beef.

I've listened to this like 3 times in a row... superb.
Am I the only one that thinks that the snare is too far forward? I'd actually like to hear it a tiny tiny bit in the mix more and with more high end presence or crunch. But overall fantastic. The double time section makes me compulsively move.

I saw your track remixed by someone and on Dubstep.net's feed... congrats!
Edit: I made a sadface when I noticed they linked to the remixer's page but not yours.
