Midi keyboards - help! Bring your bias!

Post by Th3Reindeer » Sat Mar 31, 2012 9:41 pm

So, my local guitar center is having a few promotions, and it looks like I’m gonna go snag a midi keyboard while the deals are going on. However, I’d really like your guys input, as I haven’t had a lot of luck with narrowing down my options.

I’m really interested in which of the following will integrate with my setup the best, which is currently FL Studio and Sylenth/Massive as my main synths. The controllers and their prices are:

M audio axiom 61 - 300

M audio axiom pro 61 - 475

Novation Impulse 61 - 325

Novation SL mkII 61 - 510

Akai MPK 61 - 400 - 100

Price is not really a priority, as I’m to get a controller that lasts me for years.

Thanks

SLs controls are really great, but I'm in love with axiom's keys

Not on your list but I have an AKAI MPK Mini, I use FL w/ Sylenth and Massive - so I can vouch an AKAI will work great with them. As for the quality - it seems good, it's had a few knocks and still works :D
