I dunno why everyone's hating on this that much. I, for one, really enjoyed it. I love how Spaceape and Kode are a bit abstract, but I don't think you could ever accuse them of taking themselves too seriously.

And about 'Bass fiction'. What do you think he's talking about??? It's not the most difficult turn of phrase to deciepher. Then again it's abstract enough to invite you to draw your own meanings.

Perhaps it's not best to look at the vid as an interview as such. It's just like an impressionistic snapshot of hyperdub music.

Bigup the spaceape and Kode 9. Best Deejay / MC combo in Dubstep.

i thought it was funny as hell.

you need to take what they're saying with a grain of salt. i mean they're basically making fun of themselves...

kode9 is wearing a mask (with another mask over the first) and making wierd mumbly noises.

how is that not funny?

What's all the hatin' for? It's a funny, weird interview. Don't take it so seriously.

Fucking right. What this music needs is more vocal snippets from old dub, reggae and dancehall tunes. Or - and here's an idea - samples from films. Gangster films! Or war films! Maybe stuff that involves swear words. Or shouting. That shit would be next level.

Think you onto something there mate. I'll have to try that and see how it goes though. I now this scene can be a little slow on the uptake of fresh idea's like this. I wouldn't want to alienate my fans. getmeh
