back in like may 2009.
then I went into a major bro phase until seeing n-type play on vinyl in january 2010.
discovered DMZ in like april 2010 via my first dsf account.
rest is history.
I LOVE DUB MUSIC
Re: Whats the first dubstep track you ever heard?
skream - kut-off
Re: Whats the first dubstep track you ever heard?
idk Skream, rusko or some really bad remix.
I'm just glad that shortly after listening through a few dodgy remixes that I stumbled across this:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Top-10-Dubstep- ... 2BKN3NNJYV
I hate to think what type of dubstep I'd be listening to know if it wasn't for that list.

I really like how lists like that really havent changed since 2010.....
like obviously there is still loads of amazing shit being released, but the lack of amazing albums from the OG dubstep crew is a little saddening...
and to avoid the obvious flaming I might get, I'm talking heads like distance, etc...
I can assure you all Im aware of all the incredible albums currently being released.

^^ yeah in need of a new Distance album. My Demons and Repercussions, along with Degenerate, are my top 3.
As for the first dubstep tune, I've no idea honestly. First producer I got into was Benga though.

It's true mate, although top quality dubstep/bass is being released on a regular basis the quality and long-lasting appeal of the albums on that list haven't been touched in the last few years imoDevry[Kaneda] wrote:I really like how lists like that really havent changed since 2010.....

I dunno I can't think of that many classics albums since 05-07...
Re: Whats the first dubstep track you ever heard?
I wouldn't really consider that brostep but hey ho, i still love that song and was one of the first dubstep tunes i heard. Not including Night i think this was my very first...Lament Of Ben wrote:Bar9 - Midnightallurbassbelong2us wrote:would it be a sin to say i actually heard a brostep song first?

Me and a mate were into reggae and ska, along with grime.. we were fully aware of the original chase the devil by max romeo so hearing this for the first time was mindblowing. Next was Coki - Square Off i think.
