it's all about "let it slide" and "time's up".
not to mention his verse on the b-side of DITC's "The Enemy" single, "Internationally Known".
"O.C. hold it down like I'm drownin' a man!"
boom! too sick!

'bass' isn't a recognised genre as far as i'm aware...
i was under the impression it was "miami bass" which is getting pretty big these days...
but yeah ...I agree...it looks like nuschool breaks to me..

i wish resist records had resisted the temptation to make this record.

i know i already mentioned it, but what really bugs me about this kinda thing is that resist music will release this, and then in the same breath put out this shit:
http://www.resist-music.com/news.php?id=130&genre=all
they clearly approach their compilations from the point of view of how profitable it will be. (hence, three 'small-ish' genres get shoehorned into one here, rather than putting out a pure dubstep comp). okay, it's what they do, and they've been doing it for years... but it i think it belittles the music a bit, when compilations are clearly put together as profit-making exercises rather than because of a passion for it (especially when many people work hard to spread the music on a grassroots level).
good for 'dubstep'? perhaps yes. better for resist though, i reckon.

the genres on their own arnt big enough, so they just put out a mixture of all of them.

1 cd for each genre
my point was that you have to buy all 3 cd's, it's a triple pack. hence if you're not into grime or "bass" then it's not worth buying. bad design imo

the grime cds tracklisting is awful
a terrible representation of the scene
next time that should perhaps try getting someone actually into the music to compile it
