Sure it was Simon that told me one of his friends said she would rather go through childbirth again, than have root canal.

It's not that bad if done well. Make sure you are referred to a root canal specialist instead of a random dentist. A specialist will get it done much more quickly, less painfully and hopefully with fewer complications.

On a similar note, went to the GP today to get my shoulder checked out. Fucking doctor was so condescending and dismissive. And, ultimately, useless. If I couldn't do any of the movements you wanted me to to, I would've gone to the fucking A&E.
