I find it a little bit shocking that people still use Acid as their main app a kid on my label uses that as well. It just goes to show you it's all about the "it's not what you use but how you use it"

I like Live.

From outside dubstep, I know 9th Wonder gets a lot of slack for using FL. And people still say he's one of the best hip-hop producers out there.
Feedback wanted.

Guys let's call it what it is, Fruity Loops. That's why people hate on it.

I was using fruity loops 9 years ago and the shit was the same, but i remember drum and bass producers always hated on it, cause it was new, different, and worst of all easy!

haha, its like DJing too, why do people get mad if the technology we use makes things easier so we can make/play better music? Lets stop living in the past, use what we have available and focus on making it more appealing to the ear!

I switched from fruity loops to ableton a few years ago, no reason imparticular though (bad pun), it was just a nice fresh switch.

I laugh though because whenever I jump back on fruity loops I always make a loop in minutes, I'll spend hours in ableton making a loop.. yet still can only make tracks that I like in ableton!

I'm fucked!

Either way, I see it as a confidence thing, I'm going to use whatever I think I will make shit sound good in.

I started on FL Studio / Reason 5 and totally switched DAWs, not using Ableton..

Ableton is good for live, and producing as well.. the time warp system kicks all DAWs ass and is just a beautiful thing.
