I doubt Zedd will be dusting off any 12"s for his br00tal electro house sets and we all know nobody in that crowd gives a shit what he's playing out on. The man has a point imo.
yep, at least he admits it freely. DJing electro house isn't exactly conducting a symphony.
hating on that kinda thing is sort of like hating on someone for eating mcdonalds because you and your friends raise and slaughter your own prime grass-fed beef.
in a club half the time you cant even see the decks anyway, you could even go david guetta style and make your mix before the show or forget to turn your decks on or like leave them at home or in a bin or something

This
a better comparison would be to say its like driving car; automatic or manual.

But then you miss the whole "crowd pleasing" element. People enjoy McDonald's as much as prime grass-fed beef

kinda like how decent steak is worth the extra time, effort, and money it takes to produce it, rather than taking the easy, average way out and getting indigestion, but i think we're all on the same page here

I would hate the shit out of McDonalds if I did that
and it would be an equally valid hatred... that is, kinda pointless. nothing you can do will stop people from eating mcdonalds, enjoying zedd, tweeting bollocks, or sniffing celebrity ass. much easier and less stressful (on yourself and the environment) to do your own thing and just let the true heads appreciate it.
i don't know about you, but i'm fairly glad that most people don't enjoy some of the things that i do, for a variety of reasons. the ones that do are more than welcome, though. it's specialized crowd-sourced quality control.
i can go on for days about it, but the bottom line is that by hating things, you're paying attention to them, giving them power, and essentially promoting them.
