is their any way to make the flute noise using a vst instead of having to use samples?
the guy told me he made the flute himself but didnt say how he did

theres a series of free ethnic woodwind samples on freesound, thats the first note of one of them, I know the expression of it anywhere, Ive used those samples in sooo many different tunes... I could be mistaken, but I really dont think so

They're in A Minor, thats what I was searching on freesound when I found them.

Yes, it's possible. Not saying its easy, though. Best way would be sampling, but you could study the harmonics and try to recreate it in a synth.
