don't want to start a new topic, so i just ask here. shoe sizes, US 10 = UK 9 or 9.5? these charts are confusing.

US size is always 1 more... UK 9 = US 10.

I just voted in my provincial election, and this time around, it feels different. Its a real pivotal time for us, as our previous government has just been fucking around and doing nothing with our money. Just saving it, or taking it on an average old person vacation in Arizona or Mexico or something. So now there are basically two camps in our province: people who think we should spend all of our money on education and health care, and the ones who think we should give everyone a (possible) $300 dollar check (starting 2013, if there's a surplus) every year we have a surplus to do it, and privatizing health care. The later group, which mostly consists of the Wild Rose Alliance, are like a more Canadian version of the tea party, and it is fucking frightening to see them ahead in the polls. This made me have to vote for the Conservatives, who were of course, the previous party in charge. If the Wild Rose gets in power, I'm moving back to my parents house on the east coast. I really hope that my vote makes sure they don't get the majority. At least give me that.
