Hardstyle isn't bad in my opinion, but after a very short period it becomes to get very repetitive

I generally think it's pretty terrible music, but I can enjoy it in moderation and/or when drunk. There was a running joke among my mates when we were on schoolies (or leavers, or whatever you England folk call it) where we'd play Scrap Attack by Headhunterz at pretty much every opportunity and lose our shit to it.

As you can imagine, it got old fast. Few months later though I was just fucking around and I started making a hardstyle tune for the same reason as the OP and it ended up becoming this really cheesy dedication to my mates. Dropped it at a party without telling them what it was gonna be and they went fucking nuts :corndance:

Anyways, this is it:
Soundcloud
Did it in about 3 hours and it was just a pisstake so don't expect great things, it's pretty much based off the general template of Scrap Attack (or any hardstyle tune for that matter, since they all follow that template) and the words are comprised entirely of in-jokes and references you blokes won't get.

EDIT: if the first half bores you, skip to 3:15. It gets pretty epic in a cheese-overload kind of way

Too fast. Anything above 140 with a 4/4 kick pattern, I just find painful.

Not going to lie though if it wasn't for Hardcore and Hard style I probably wouldn't have gotten into electronic music .
This tune right here is what got me into the whole electronic music scene

I can do 155bpm stuff but imo hardstyle is like the prepubescent child that likes drinking smart drinks, has a pimply face and just annoys the fuck out of you.
