Game Soundtracks

Post by unwind » Tue Apr 24, 2012 6:50 pm

Found an absolutely brilliant youtube page, contains full soundtracks to the majority of the best games in the past 20 years:

http://www.youtube.com/user/ultddave/videos?view=1

So much nostalgia!!!

For the red alert 1 fans, see if you remember this! Years ahead of its' time:

And who the fuck remembers this from Quake 2?!!! Oh my Gyashhhhhh

I swear, it sounds a bit sad and geeky, but these games and their music have virtually shaped my life

As soon as I saw the thread title the first thing that came to mind was Red Alert. Who else played the game disc in their CD players?

Tried this with every game after I discovered Duke Nukem played in my CD PLayer one day.

I think the early Quakes also worked in CD players?

Also, this brings back many memories of late night sessions of Slappers mode:
currently playing the n64 ROM but it's not quite the same with my PS2 style USB controller.

How has no one mentioned Silent Hill 2? One of my favourite compilation of music ever, let alone talking about game music.
