I had a feeling that was Wub. Knowing it for a fact doesn't make me feel all that bad losing to it. It was a tough finals to vote. Both were rather similar but I did end up voting for Echo. It was really the drums I think that sealed it. Mike felt like it actually would have been better without drums. Like it was never meant to have any in the first place.

I originally had the idea of doing it as a beatless piece, funnily enough.

It's probably for the best that you didn't. I have a feeling had you gone beatless you probably would have missed out on some votes. I like a good ambient or theatrical type piece myself, but I've seen from previous contests that beatless entries tend not to fair too well.
