Form the Sierra Leone YouTube comments;
Skrillex understands Dubstep too,only difference between Skrillex and Mt Eden is that Skrillex is electro-dubstep,glitch and metalcore dubstep and Mt Eden is more of an old school dubstep,slower dubstep.
Re: Brostep - Part Deux!
I quite like a few 16 Bit tunes like Presidents of Europe.
It was also FabricLive 37 that got me into dubstep

Not particularly bothered, last thread creased me regularly. This has just gone the same way the last thread did at hyperspeed.wub wrote:garethom wrote:Thread has already gone way of last thread.

Picking up where we left off
And yeah, agree with the percussion comment, I went to Rusko a few days ago and one of the opening DJs was just pretty much playing bro, I swear every fucking snare was the EXACT same
Re: Brostep - Part Deux!
This is something funny I've noticed about brostep fans lately. I check out new UKF uploads occasionally on the off chance something I like gets uploaded (Joker's remix of Redlight - Get Out My Head was the last example of this), and I tend to see things in the comments like 'I miss old-school UKF' and 'this new dubstep sucks, go back to the old filth.' Basically, the fans who originally found dubstep through UKF's uploads of Datsik, Bar9, Bare Noize, etc, and somehow didn't find their way to non-bro sounds, are now rebelling against the more commercial sounds coming through lately. How long before that group turns into a bunch of elitist hipsters like us?

Ha! We'd have the commercial dubstep fans, then we'd have those old school UKF-ers saying that their shit sucked, and then we'd have US telling THEM that THEIR music sucked
