Is this what that spy was trying to do in the bath?

Funnily enough, the China Mieville book I'm reading right now has just had a scene where someone with the ability to fold anything into smaller objects (eg a monitor into an origami crane) folded two people into a tiny giftwrapped parcel.

Sounds amazing. I think this might have just become my superhero power of choice.

What's the book title? Is it good?

It's called The Kraken. It's good so far, the style is quite different from most of his other books. There are some oddities in the prose though which makes it slightly confusing at times. Might have a few errors too, but I haven't gone far enough into the book yet to tell whether they were intentional or not.

And yes! That would be an awesome superpower!
