Favorite EDM genre besides dubstep?
It's tough...I guess I'd say either dnb or house. Probably dnb.

I haven't listened to dubstep in quite a while.

Probably jungle
Re: Favorite EDM genre besides dubstep?
Anything dubby - techno, house...
Also why I largely lost interest in most dubstep the last couple of years. Still some great stuff around, but not as much of that dubby vibe.
I really dislike the term "EDM" for some reason. A bit cringey imo.

House & 'uk bass' or whatever it's called. Dubsteps probably quite far down my list now, has failed me these past few years. Also not living in London or Bristol atm there's no good nights to rekindle my love for the genre

Re: Favorite EDM genre besides dubstep?
DnB & Dubstep are my top two, always have been, always will be. Although personally I pretty much class anything between 135-145bpm as dubstep. Doesn't mean that's what it is, just... Dunno what else to call it, and it's normally made by artists who produce dubstep. At the moment my favourite is the kind of stuff photek is putting out, especially fountainhead. Anything like that.
Besides those, progressive house would be my next in line, although I've gone off it quite a bit lately thanks to commodo, razor rekta, biome, j:kenzo etc etc.
