yeah, i know exactly what you mean... it doesn't help that 808 bass drums are a standard preset in a lot of VSTi's / DAWs

still wack, listen to that lead in scud books. him and rustie have been doing this dense, simple, chord based, overly optimistic sounding shit with mainstream r&b/pop sounds with an 80s feel.OllieScott wrote:its not like hud mo is just writing "trap". cbat was the only on the ep like that wasnt it?

Yeah and it's fucking wicked music to here played out.
It's good because it's like that. I may listen to horrible dark music most the time but I do love a bit of happy energetic music with a slight nod to nostaglic pop. Rustie and Hudmo's new stuff is just the most ridiculously fun music.

Is it?
I don't actually know any hipsters in real life I have no idea what they listen to
aside from they're probably overly snobby over any music that actually has a sense of fun or has got popular recently...

hipsters love fun kitsch throwback 80s music.
Re: Future Bass Mega-thread (Trap/Bass/Rap/???)
I hate any music that's "Kitch"
Wouldn't say Rustie is Kitch.
