Kosmonot - Shine ( 1940's sample, wtf )

Post by Kosmonot » Wed May 09, 2012 5:37 am

Would love opinions, feedback, etc.

Soundcloud

I feel like the sub bass may be too high. My monitors might be misrepresenting the sound. :6:

Im all in for the 1940's samples, always think older stuff has a nice vibe if your going for a more organic sound :D This is a really chilled track!!

Indeed the sample is big! Great work. I find the sub is not loud enough, could use some extra decibels! And maybe add some more filler sounds and pattern variation to fill it up a bit, it drags on for too long at some points.

I was feeling the very same way man. Much appreciated. I'm also having a bit of trouble nailing the right level for the sub bass. Shitty mackie monitors :\

The feedback is much appreciated

lovely idea and excellent implementation! as i listened i basically thought the same things as the previous speakers: no precievable bass and you should really add some exclusive detail to the parts where it loops

I guess something happened with the mixdown, because i've got a doubled sine wave for the sub bass. Thanks much for the feedback, guys. Gonna fix this.
