Re: Video Tutorial: How to Make Nasty Filtered Bass in Massi
no offense but that is a beginner/amateur bass patch at best
if you're going to charge people for a course and advertise here at least deliver on the goods of being on a level that you can actually teach them something they can't learn for free

If you don't like it, simply don't take the course. All good. However, there are many people who are perhaps at a lower skill level than yourself who could benefit from understanding the basics of Massive.deadly habit wrote:no offense but that is a beginner/amateur bass patch at best

On another note, do you have some more advanced patches and tutorials of your own you'd like to post? If so, I'd welcome you to do so and would be interested in listening to them.
All the best.

Re: Video Tutorial: How to Make Nasty Filtered Bass in Massi
then don't market it as nasty filtered bass, market it as a massive basics, that's the only issue i'm taking
i'll do a vid tutorial tomorrow since it's 10:30pm and i doubt the neighbors would appreciate me blasting bass at this time

Re: Video Tutorial: How to Make Nasty Filtered Bass in Massi
For me, I learned 2 HUGE things from vespers video:
1. Get the timbre of the sound first and work on movement before applying fx.(Not that this is the ONLY way to go, as I've had success in other ways of working, but this seems to be a great rule of thumb to keep a lot of the dynamics of the original timbre still intact.)
2. Grouping massive and loading another instance using a rack for sub bass.
Always appreciate your hard work dude.

...Still waiting for Deadly's video...What's up buddy...you called him out, now let's see a more advance bass design patch tutorial. Oh and try to use it in context, as I believe that's a large component a lot of tutorial vids don't include.

Nice tutorial. You should do more of them. Lots people are curious about synthesis. Perhaps offer your own course.deadly habit wrote:http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=244763Toolman4 wrote:For me, I learned 2 HUGE things from vespers video:
