It's a weird record. There's something which draws and repels me from it. But I like that: Nothing obvious!

i hate how i'm the only person on the forum who doesn't get it. i quite like it, but it's just not...... yaknow.
will try again when i can hear.
didn't grab me either. after listening to the previews I didn't even want to bother getting it. gonna give it another listen, but not anytime soon.

ni en bhed wrote: mh some tracks on "the drawbar organ" didn't grab me, too. for example "seven present tenses" . imo the worst tune shackleton has done until now (dont get me wrong, still an amazing tune).
seven present tenses reminds me of a remix he made in 2009 - Harmonia & Eno* – '76 Remixes - Sometimes In Autumn (Shackleton Remix)
the track by shackleton that really got me. after listening to this one i had to buy nearly every skull disco release. and from this moment on i bought and will buy all releases.
another great album by shackleton.Image
cant wait to hear him playin on the next wax treatment here in berlin. Image

Does anyone know how many of the limited editions were pressed, they are selling high as 60+ euros?

The Rope Tightens
the lyrics are just :O :O
its like the voice slowly goes mad through the song

HELP

i had the pleasure of seeing shackleton sometime in june. the whole lineup was incredible, forward thinking music. since then nothing does it for me

i saw kryptic minds
and scuba
and while they were really good it just couldn't compare at all

the only exception is when im on way too many drugs and pretend im dancing w/ guns for hands to neurofunk but lets just not talk about that

how do i get over this funk??? all i want is shack

Yo. I can only get one release of him and I can't choose one cuz they are all equally sick. Choices are:
A) soundboy's nuts
B) soundboy's bones
C) soundboy's suicide note

Made names shorter cuz I'm on iPhone.
