Music Producers need an exciting identity to be successful?

Post by ForbiddenFruitRecord » Fri May 11, 2012 11:43 am

In modern electronic music almost anyone can make a track of sorts - so you need to stand out.

This question is answered along with how to develop a unique sound and build an audience in a book I'm launching - "Complete Music Producer - Essential Skills to become a success"

Featuring exclusive interviews with top electronic producers like Bok Bok, Paul Woolford, Sasha, Above & Beyond to legends like Arthur baker. Its the world first guide for producers to develop their own unique sound and build an audience. You can check out more at the books website below to buy ebook or paperback

http://www.completemusicproducer.com/

Here is a link to a free digest version of the book: http://bit.ly/KHzbpR

This reason I've not be posting much last 6months... looking forward to some record shopping ;p

Now I'm pretty forgiving when it comes to poor use of the English language on the internet, but you're launching a book here! Proof-read your shit! Your OP has colloquialisms, poor punctuation, dangling modifiers, the works. Even casual promotions on forums should be spiffy - after all, you're trying to stand out too, right?

It's rare that I'll say read a book on another completely different subject, but I think it kind of parallels the aspiring music producer
I was fortunate enough to win a copy of this during Ludum Dare 48 and honestly read it front to back in one sitting
The Game Jam Survival Guide
While this covers a game programming jam or competition a lot of it parallels what producers do and how to be more efficient and get noticed (which honestly can be applicable to any entertainment industry)
It can also be kind of compared to say a sample contest on here or a 48 hr contest on here and the techniques in this book could easily be adapted to music production (what's also funny is most people who partake in these contests make their own music as well)

anyways blah blah blah, good stuff to read and learn from
KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!

apologies you feel let down mate. The guide's aim is just to give you a better understanding of the concepts before buying, and there is still some useful information in there that many will learn from...

if you subscribe to the blog there is still last few hours of 25% discount going on ebook...
