Oh and I forgot to ask what are the cons of taking psychedelics? I havent ever really heard of any(besides the fact of a bad trip) so I would like to hear this. Anything that you guess have experienced first hand?

i feel like i probably shouldn't post this cause it's a pretty gross story but here goes. reader discretion is advised

my worst experience was at a time when i was also taking some antibiotics for a sinus infection i'd had for several months... these antibiotics had the very nasty side effect of giving me dickcheese, which i never experienced ever before in my life, let alone the horrendously absurd amount of it (i kid you not)

i didn't realize it was from the antibiotics until i was done tripping...

i ended up thinking my dong was infected with some sort of disease and that it was too late to save at this point... i thought i'd have to go to the hospital later and get it amputated. followed by four hours of me laying in bed weeping for my penis


luckily i sobered up and realized it was the antibiotics and stopped taking them. mr dong was squeaky clean soon after

LSD is a beautiful drug, just make sure you're in a good mind state and a comfortable place, you'll be fine.

To the O.p - if you can try both, definitely do. (just not at the same time ) people tend to usually swear by one or the other depending on personal experiences with either.

I've done more cid over the years than shrooms but after my last handful of voyages being shroom propelled (and other additions) i feel more inclined to go for them now.

both are great though. make sure you have everything you need for where ever you are really. Weather can influence it a lot.

I literally felt like a lost drowned cat at glade festival once when it was raining hard (this happened to be a while after i experienced 6 'normal' seconds of beautiful 'no- time' luckily i found my way back to the tent and warmed up for a while...like any sensible cat would do

but yeah ,check the weather.heat and cold can play a big part. Keeping hydrated and fed if you feel need at any point or at the end of the night. having a good space to wonder around if you're outdoors & preferably away from the public.

i find acid is quite draining but then i am usually at festivals ,parties or on mega out door missions when ever i've done it so that's probably why.

if you can find out how strong whatever it is you're getting, it might help too but then that always varies too even if you do know how many 'mics' it is.

molecular-ly, shrooms are a lot closer to dmt, but that's a whole other space-ball-game.

I went to a club back in Newcastle on acid, theres no way i can properly describe what it did to the music but it was amazingggg. Some stuff will flange other parts will slow down, rewind or change in pitch and occasionally all at the same time.

Because trippy stuff seems to alter and simultaneously enhance your perception music generally becomes a lot more detailed and alive, doesn't it? Music in general sounds extra amazing and has a greater effect on your state of mind. Tape-recorded music such as that from the '60s and '70s played on vinyl sounds beautiful, my mate had reissues of Jefferson Airplane and Jimi Hendrix and he'd put them on when we had the chance... dub and roots can also be very tranquil while dubstep and breakstep in raves is extremely intense yet workable because it's got a decent tempo and rhythm.

You tend to listen to stuff differently, it completely removes your preconceptions about what you like and don't like and you might find yourself listening to stuff you'd never have thought about but appreciating it anyway!

yeah, we ended up listening to asian radio once while watching country file on mute so i can completely understand where your coming from haha, listening to old music like hendrix and bob marley and beatles makes you feel like your actually alive in that period...ahh this thread is making me want to find shroom or acid dealer in london

get to any of the psy parties in london. music is more miss than hit depending on your tastes,,,,but the people are all nice and there are infinite hook ups to be found

ive been to a couple of psytrance parties, i always sit outside all night and accept free drugs off strangers
the music is sooooo fucking bad but the people are nice until they start talking about philosophy

I went to an outdoor one a few weeks ago for the first time in like 6 months and was actually more impressed with the music. Was psytrance but borderline Idm /techno/noise with some actual psychedelic spin out moments. didn't catch who was playing though. Psytrance on the most part is a bit too try-hard. when it's done well though its hard to fault. like most genres though, just have to wade through a lot of crap.

My calculations tell me it's 50 times more enjoyable with a steady supply of Nos too. (always remember to bring your own balloons to avoid getting ripped the fuck off! )

There's one on tonight (not going to ). "Art of psychedelia anniversary " ...not sure if it's outside though.probably is.

The outdoor ones aren't actually too bad when the weathers good,locations good and they go on well into Sunday afternoon.

i went to some psy/dub/reggae party on a farm, just sat inside strangers tents and caravans all night doing nitrous, methylone and mushrooms, dont think i even danced once

amen on the nos, art of psy eh? same guys from california sun? im similiar too, i hybernate for half the year waiting for the sun. Probably won't hit one up until the end of the month once i got some cash
