i think quest might have threatened to stop producing unless he got some more damn'd recognition 'round these parts.. actually made me go and listen to his stuff which is really good. cotti made a similar off-hand comment in one of his own threads here recently but there wasn't a big deal made..

We've had a few good ones on a forum that I use with some mates in Bristol... I once had a big old flamewar with Geoff Barrow from Portishead about analog vs digital equipment, but the best ones are always when someone comes in pretending to be a fan of their own music or pretending to be a PR company representing themselves. We had this guy called AllFlaws come through (worst rapper in Bristol by a stretch, I would've thought)... that thread went on for weeks.

A girl on a hiphop forum I used to be on (well, still lurk a bit) pretty much worked her way round every guy on there apart from me (I had a lady and standards...) - photos were posted, aliases appeared divulging all most shameful details including one of the dudes eating cocaine out of her chuff and a couple of them going twos-up... slightly weirdly, I ended up recording a tune with her a few years later.
