The initial sweep in the beginning of Solid state:

is exactly similar to the sweep in the beginning of this tune:

(only the skrillex tune has a bunch of other shit mixed in with the sampled sweep... presumably to hide the fact that its stolen)

I find this very interesting....

It might be sampled directly, idk. It doesn't seem like something like that would really be THAT hard to recreate...

I guess... I just find it strange that not only did the sweep sound the same, but its placement was the same in both tunes as well

Some (a lot) of sample packs contain sweeps and fx.
