its a good start, look into mastering the final mix. it could be more full and the bass will thump more if you master it. dont be afraid to push the bass into the red with dubstep.

Awesome for your first try. I'd get a thicker kick, use a riser and have a tits drop and maybe go a little more minor on your scales. Other than that, good shit.

I just posted my first dubstep track too a couple forum posts down, check it out holmes.

DO NOT push anything into the RED when you are mixing. that's worst advice I've seen on this board yet! you got a good start, but i would change the bass noise. that wobble shit is getting old and this tune has a ton of potential.

Keep on rockin'.

Thanks both of you! Alright - so I shall do less wobble? I really feel like I want some more melodic elements in the "chorus part". I'll see what I can do with the kick, yeah I know that i shouldn't put it in the red I've been mastering other stuff so I know that it will destroy any speakers that you use if you out it in the red. Thanks for the awesome feedback though! I really appreciate it! Follow me on soundcloud if you want to hear more in the future.

Slaybrahamlincoln I'll check out your track as well!

A bit of reverb, delay, fuck about with the FX, EQ an that. Make the beats stand out more.

El-tel I thought your song was great, try working on using "white noise" for your risers and not just the kick or the snare, otherwise i thought it was really dope. Keep it up!

Sub is really good. This has a chipstep feel, which I like.

I love the melody, but less wobble as they said above. That snare though. big up.
