I read this when you posted it and have pretty much thought about Cherry Coke all day since.

Might have to make a sneaky trip to the Newsagents.

I went and got a Dr Pepper earlier because of that, not quite the same but it's all Sainsburys had

Dr Pepper shits all over Cherry Coke.

Shits all over EVERY drink except Bigga Jamaican Punch.

I stay far away from fizzy drinks.
Once in a blue moon maybe.
It`s just really bad for you.

Energy drinks are even worse.
My 12 year old is suddenly wanting energy drinks all the time.
He keeps asking if he can have a Redbull or Monster.
I haven`t given him either but for some reason he thinks it`s cool to drink that shit at 12.
I`ve even explained how bad it is and owing that he`s 12 and super fit, sporty, etc.
The last thing he needs is an energy boost to supplement his energy boost.

Yeah i'm the same.just an occasional thing.

Energy drinks portray a "cool" persona so that might be why he's started with them. works out for them i guess with all their extreme sports advertising and i guess they help pay for some cool films. even if they are all placing too much attention on being cinematic now days.

i think at that age anyway they're gonna do what they're gonna do till they learn it themselves otherwise

I used to drink more of them and fizzy drinks but after visualizing 30 gram-wraps of sugar in my drink i thought twice about it.

will still drink some every now and then but no where near as much as a lot of people i know. Worst energy drinks are in thailand. had one that was basically pure taurine . had a few sips and my poison radar told me to leave it.


energy drinks/caffeine etc are sometimes cool but they basically rinse your adrenal glands to shit when drank too much and too often. always less destructive energy sources out there.
