Annoying "Hiccups" in final product??

Post by Kid Bosk » Sun May 20, 2012 3:07 am

Okay so I've heard these in a lot of tunes I've downloaded... they're like annoying little stops or skips in the song.... I assumed it was a matter of compression... or I just got a really shitty mp3 or something... but I have this tune I made and it is full of these hiccups here and there... its a wav at 1411kbps... the quality is superb... the mixdown is superb... but I can still hear these hiccups.... WTF? Is this normal??

sounds like it might be your soundcard. try adjusting the sample rate

Are you saying its my soundcard that causes the file to playback that way? So if I ,in theory, played the same file on a better computer would it sound normal?

Teach us how master, maybe someone else might have to save the world from this in the future, and they won't know... :Q:
