trance songs that really need dubstep remakes.
Re: trance songs that really need dubstep remakes.
THIS is the stuff im talking about when mixing Trance and Dubstep together. hear those arpeggios going up and down near the end. That's textbook trance elements there, it even sounds familiar to some early Ferry Corsten i think (i know i heard a similar tune with that arpeggiated sound, but i cant remember which track and producer made it). This tune is fresh and i would play this out anytime, thats how good it is.

only wanted to let you know that the arpeggiated sound is totally custom made with midi/piano-roll, so this is "unique" too

This tune could use some sub and more interesting drums.

And guess which room had the least...
The dubstep room was practically empty at certain points of the night compared to the others even though headliners Pendulum Chase and Status and Mord Fustang all were performing... the energy was lacking in the room. The Trance room was packed wall to wall all night... Cosmic Gate, Markus Schulz and Wippenberg being the headliners... Dubstep could take a few more pages from trance's playbook

i didnt mean to imply that you sampled this off a trance track, just that its so reminiscent of many golden age trance tracks. Play any Ferry Corsten, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, Lange, etc from 97-99, and that same riff and synth are omnipresent.

IMO there's only very few trance/progressive house songs that I would like to see a proper dubstep remix of by a non-brostep producer. A few that come to mind:
