Yeah, my mum only used her hands to beat me today, she didn't even get the belt out. Thought that was sweet.

WOLF'S METAL FUN TIMES

I went to see Harvey Milk on Wednesday in Bristol. Maybe the best live band I've seen. Wicked to see em in such a small place and I bought one of the records I don't have yet too. Hey Colossus were good as a support band too and Melvins were just hanging out in the bar too. Also met wubstep off here and had a couple pints with him and his mates at some pub.

Then yesterday went up to London. Hung out with some mates at the skate park in Stockwell in the sun then went to see

Slayer, Melvins, Sleep and Wolves In The Throne Room. All of them were sick. Slayer was insane. Also one of the bands I've been most impressed with live but more for how much fucking energy they can get out the crowd. I couldn't help but go completely fucking mental for the whole set. I mean even when not in the mosh pit I was just jumping around and yelling so much I had to stop towards the end cause it started to hurt too much. Melvins fucking rule live too. Stupidly tight and good performance. Sleep just sound amazing. Proper thick sound and groove the whole set. Wolves In The Throne Room were fucking wicked too though the long songs with basically nothing but insanely slow passages or full blown black metal combined with the heat of the venue meant I was all dozy and staring into space the whole set. I bought a wicked Wolves In The Throne Room poster too.

Spent all today chilling with my mates who I know from years back up Hampstead Heath in the sun. So burnt now though

Just got the most inspirational text from an unknown number. Really appreciate it, I needed that :w:
Plus just got a mess of letters from different colleges wanting me to apply. Probably doesn't mean shit, but it makes me feel good.

My brother's fuck up that ruined my weekend has resulted in my postponing my trip to Black Market Records.

'Til next week, by which time I realise that Percy/Fierce will be out :h: :h: :h:
