Wish You Were Here is like the new Lantana
with it's examination of a relationship under the stress of a secret

I'd recommend all of the following:

Shame still best of year,
A Seperation excellent but not quite up to hype
The Descendents I would see again because of Hawaiian atmosphere (George Clooney running in flip-flops)
This Must Be The Place has the hilarious performance from Sean Penn

next seeing Silent Souls

Is Margin Call worth seeing?

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows - second time watching it, better this time as I didn't have Spanish language subtitles all over the place. Loved it, made me laugh my arse off for most of it.

Seriously great movie

Yeah, was at least a decent movie (to rtl7 standards).

anybody into movie sound:
Silent Souls
I'd love to hear it thru headphones

otherwise, any kids on here, don't bother because it's very contemplative & slow,
although you might like the scene where they wash Tania's body & tie threads to her pubes

Safe House

By the numbers thriller, not much of a performance from either Washington or Reynolds (both of whom I am usually a big fan of)...played out like a poor version of Man On Fire.

Underworld : Awakening

Really, really bad. Plot made no sense, CGI was terrible, even Stephen Rea couldn't save it. Shame as I liked the rest of the series :(

saw the Raid today, ridiculous and brilliant

some of the fight scenes went on way too long, but it was sick, did live up to the hype

Yeah big up Jesus for dying for our sins and netting us a public holiday in the process.

Also, hot cross buns.
