This is easy to say when you're on the verge of retirementknell wrote:that's insanely acerbic, even for you noways
i guess i should add that it should be a part time thing that you really enjoy doing, so it can be a leisure activity that generates revenue. personally i love finding and sharing good music, i would do it anyway, so why not earn my car insurance payments or gifts for my lady while i do it?
even if everyone blocked my ads, i'd still do it just for the free promo kits and connections i've made

This whole experience was awesome for everyone who stuck through and got their cheque imo. Even though I only got paid once...my goal to improve my writing skills for my uni classes was reached!

you could be in the same position! you said you stopped so you could spend more time offline, and yet every time i log on to DSF it seems like you're a permanent fixture in the "who's online" section at the bottom of the pagekidshuffle wrote: This is easy to say when you're on the verge of retirement

yeah i definitely almost always have dsf open, even when i'm not around. i've pretty much restrained from wasting time on everywhere else on the web, now i need to work on being off of here
summer internships (and tbh, summer in general) should be a decent time away tho

Re: SNH Blogs 9.0: We're Still Here

it seems like blogger lets various accounts follow you now too, it doesn't have to strictly be blogspot people anymore
i'm starting season 2 of the radio portion soon, looking to commission mixes from DJs, I have a few lined up but there are still some open slots if anyone reading this is interested.
Re: SNH Blogs 9.0: We're Still Here
Hi, does anyone know how to copy+paste a link into the blogger post section?
Basically I want to paste lots of links in...e.g. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/ However, it comes up as...http: //www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/
This is problematic when I've got hundreds of links to put up to say the least
Surely there is a way around this?

Thanks Kid-shuffle.
One final question, how do I get proper spaces inbetween lines?
E.g. I want it to be like this:
"trololo
trololo"
Instead it comes like this:
"trololotrololo"
or:
"trololo
trololo"
It's annoying!

Are you using <br> and <p>?

Re: SNH Blogs 9.0: We're Still Here
It's just in the typical blogger/blogspot layout, it's just not registering spaces

Re: SNH Blogs 9.0: We're Still Here
it sounds like you're in HTML mode... see if you can find a button that says "compose", that's blogger's preview mode.mrdii wrote:It's just in the typical blogger/blogspot layout, it's just not registering spaces
if you don't see one, then you can try to use the blogger HTML code for line breaks, which is <br />
Re: SNH Blogs 9.0: We're Still Here
Thanks Knell, you've been a real help.
I have one final question and then my blog construction is completed; how do you get an image to link you away from the site...in affect an advert. I tried putting in an image and it worked, but when you clicked on it the link just took you to a dead blogger page on my site. This is quite annoying!
Thanks!

Re: SNH Blogs 9.0: We're Still Here
Hi guys, I have started a blog called Celebrate Techno (http://www.celebrate-techno.com).
The idea behind it is to build an archive of the best techno music released over the years. I have already compiled a list of 365 tracks which I will add to the blog one-a-day for the next year. This is how I plan to get the ball rolling and if it picks up a bit of momentum I have many other ideas i'll go ahead with.
You can also like (and share
) the Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/CelebrateTechno) to have the tracks posted on your news feed each day, or get updates on twitter (https://twitter.com/CelebrateTechno) if that's how you roll.
Hope to see some of you on there!
