Muse jump on the bandwagon
I don't want to provoke another thread of people arguing over dubstep's future, but I thought I should at least bring this to people's attention...

Re: Muse jump on the bandwagon
Muse's first album "showbiz" was fucking fantastic but they've gradually been getting shitter and shitter with each release, I think I've finally lost all hope of them ever releasing anything good again

Re: Muse jump on the bandwagon
the raping of this sound over the years is nuts. out to the originators, benny ill and jay must be so ashamed of the continuum of dubstep.
skream and benga will play this on r1 anyway, coz its muse l0l

Re: Muse jump on the bandwagon
Wank. I did like muse. That more shit than the enter shikari carp.
Re: Muse jump on the bandwagon
your comment is irrelevant. The track OP posted is just awful. i don't give a fuck how good they are at something else. They aren't good at this. And your generalizations about dubstep and musicianship are dumb.uphigh wrote:muse has no reason not to try out a sound?
hear something, dig it, try your own interpretation. no problem there
i rate muse mostly because of their musicality, each and every member is quite good at their instrument
which is much more than can be said about most dubstep producers, of whom most do not know actual music.
muse is musically inclined
most dubstep (especially the type this forum worships) is not. (it requires production technique yes, but not knowledge of music)
i can see why not many here dont like them
or i can state it this way,
how many dubstep producers/djs can do what muse does (like write a song. not just make a beat)?
im sure muse can make a beat.
just trying to even out the scales
Re: Muse jump on the bandwagon
Is this actually real?
As Particle Jim said they started out pretty good, Origin of Symmetry wasn't bad either. Then Matt Bellamy disappeared up his own arse and the bassist (the best part) left as far as I recall.
I thought the wannabe-Queen stuff was bad, this sounds horrendous. It might as well just be some Matt Bellamy side-project, the idea of performing dubstep with a band is just fucking retarded.
